Always take your jewelleries off when using perfume, hairspray, lotion or water/soap as these can discolour the jewellery. It's also good to wait a little while before putting them on after using these products. Also don not wear the jewellery when doing sports as transpiration has the same effect.

Always store the jewellery piece by piece in a jewellery bag, not in the bathroom as the humidity makes the plating oxidize faster.
